About Quadrarium

Quadrarium is built by Gabriel, its founder — a software architect with 15 years of experience, through his company Gaperi Consult SRL in Brașov, Romania.

Gabriel runs short-term rentals himself. He built Quadrarium because tourist-tax rules differ from comune to comune (rate, accommodation type, exemptions, seasons, night caps, deadlines) and each platform collects the tax in some places and not in others. Keeping track of that by hand, across a portfolio, is not realistic.

Quadrarium computes, reconciles and prepares files from official, cited sources. It is general information, not tax advice.

Quadrarium comes from the Italian verb quadrare, from the Latin quadrus, “square”, as in far quadrare i conti: making the books balance.
