A free check before Italy’s tourist-tax declaration
Before you or your commercialista prepare the annual imposta di soggiorno declaration, see for each comune what is still missing and where to fix it.

What the check looks at
- Your fiscal profile: the declarant details the declaration needs.
- The host status you declared for the tax year, property by property.
- Properties without a CIN.
- Listings in your reports that aren’t linked to a property yet.
- Stays with no verified rule for their check-in date.
- Platform stays for which who declares them isn’t proven yet.
- Stays per quarter: a quarter with none may mean a missing report.
- A declaration already prepared, or recorded as filed.
It shows no amounts: it lists what is missing and links to where you fix it.
Who it is for
Managers with several properties or several booking channels, and the commercialisti who prepare their declarations. One account can hold several entities, and your accountant gets their own seat.
Who declares the stays a platform collected
In its FAQ on the declaration, Italy’s Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) reads the rule this way: for short lets under art. 4, comma 5-ter, of D.L. 50/2017, when an intermediary such as a platform collects the rent, that intermediary declares those stays, not the gestore.
Which case applies to you depends on your status and on how each stay was booked and paid; for a property run as a business the answer can differ. The check shows which platform stays Quadrarium can place in or out of your file, and which it can’t. Check it with your commercialista.
